Indoor unit communication error

Cause:

Indoor ↔ outdoor comms lost

Action:

Check 1-2-3 interconnect and PCB.

Indoor unit address setting error

Cause:

Duplicate / unset address

Action:

Re-set DIP switches or auto address.

E:EE 13.1

Wired remote controller communication error

Cause:

RC cable fault

Action:

Check 2-core RC cable polarity.

Network communication error

Cause:

VRF network fault

Action:

Inspect outdoor-outdoor comms and terminator.

Indoor return air thermistor (Ta) error

Cause:

Open / short Ta sensor

Action:

Replace return air thermistor.

Indoor heat exchanger pipe thermistor error

Cause:

Open / short coil sensor

Action:

Replace coil thermistor.

Discharge pipe sensor error

Cause:

Open / short Td sensor

Action:

Replace discharge sensor.

Compressor temperature sensor error

Cause:

Open / short sensor

Action:

Replace compressor temperature sensor.

Cause:

Blocked condenser, overcharge

Action:

Clean condenser, check charge and fan.

Cause:

Low charge, EEV closed

Action:

Check charge, EEV and Td sensor.

Compressor temperature trouble

Cause:

Compressor overheating

Action:

Check oil return, charge, EEV.

HP trip

Action:

Inspect condenser, fan and charge.

Action:

Leak test, check filter drier.

Stalled / failed indoor fan

Action:

Test motor windings and PCB feedback.

Float trip / pump fault

Action:

Clear drain and test pump.

Cause:

Outdoor main PCB fault

Action:

Power-cycle, replace if persists.

Inverter compressor IPM error

Cause:

Overcurrent / IPM failure

Action:

Megger compressor, replace inverter PCB.
